Year in Review 2008
Here we go again! I love this meme. I hadn't seen anyone doing it yet, so I thought I'd resurrect it from previous years.

Take the first sentence from the first post of each month of 2008. This is your year in review.


January: Dear Random New Year's Resolution Gym Members: I don't respect you.

February: Because Fielding Rogers is my homeboy, I'll pass along this plea on his behalf: Make Ale8 the official beverage of Kentucky!

March: Hmmm.

April: Ironically enough, my first real career 'phase' was writing.

May: I'm watching On Writing with Stephen & Tabitha King on C-Span2, which marks the first time I've ever tuned to this channel and kept it on the station for more than ten seconds.

June: It's 5:13AM and I just got home from an evening of pasta, Sex & the City, Ramsey's brownie pie & cosmos, a stint at the gay bar, and a round of Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

July: I meant to write about this weeks ago, but got distracted... but it's really too amusing to let go without a mention.

August: Can I ask a favor?

September: Jenny pointed out that my livejournal was beginning to resemble hers (i.e., a ghost town), so I figured I should jump in and do an obligatory madcap update.

October: Just watching this makes me so incredibly sad.

November: "Allison, why are you voting for Barack Obama?"

December: So, don't be offended.
