Girls' Night Out, July 2008
A few pictures from Girls' Night Out this past weekend -- an evening of recklessness that I'd been looking forward to for weeks.
At Rincon, the Mexican restaurant across the street from the Blue Moon. Rincon margaritas are the best -- and for a true night out, you want the real thing, complete with strong tequila, and none of that overpriced, watered-down Applebee's shit.
The girls at our procured table in the Blue Moon -- Frances, Amy, Heather, and Lauren. Jenny had an obligation to her boyfriend that evening, so she missed out on all the greasiness at the Moon... but came back for the gay bar. :)
We won a contest for being the loudest table in the club. lulz. So we got a free bottle of champagne. :)
Since it was stripper night, I felt this pose was highly appropriate.

Then, I managed to accidentally throw my camera off the table (I don't know how this happened, I set the champagne bottle down, clipped the camera, and it went flying into the air and landed on the ground six feet away). So then the lens was fucked and everything came out blurry. :( I have such shitty luck with cameras. Luckily, when Jenny rejoined us later in the evening, she had hers ready.

At the gay bar, we were the only ones on the dance floor for at least an hour. Seriously. So we completely dominated it and looked like complete idiots. It was amazing. Jenny took a video of it, but once it was uploaded to YouTube, the quality was too dark to even tell what we're doing most of the time. :( Does anyone know why this happens? The video file itself is much lighter. I dunno.

...but first, a stop by the fountain across the street. This is me saying, "Hey guys, it's not that deep! It's only like two inches!" Which was completely false, by the way.
And this is the result of Jenny saying, "I dare you to get in the fountain, Allison!" I jumped in, expecting two inches of water, and fell into two feet of water instead.
Amy decided that I needed help walking, apparently.
We are all fans of the "five-dollar yumrockets" from Subway.
My drunken-laughing face is so ugly. :(
FIVE-DOLLAR FOOTLONGS! I swear I didn't piss my shorts. The fountain, remember?
And then Jenny humped a lion.
We all thought this was hilarious, of course.
Jenny wanted Charlie's Angels-type poses, so I decided to ruin it. lulz.
And then everyone wanted to jump, and failed...
And then we tried one more time. With equally bad results. haha.
That wasn't quite the end of the evening, but it was the bulk of it by far. :) We didn't get to bed until 6:00AM -- I had to turn off my alarm before getting in bed -- and then we got up early to do an Autism benefit walk that morning. hahaha.
